SSM Playworks Technologies (“we”, “us”, or “our”) provides Path Coil. This policy explains what information the game processes, why it is processed, and the choices available to you.
Information stored on your device
Path Coil stores your self-declared age or skipped-age choice, completion of age screening, game progress, puzzle state, hearts, hints, unfinished game session, sound, vibration, theme, and related settings on your device. Local save-recovery information is also used to protect progress from interrupted device writes.
Your declared age selects age-appropriate features; it is not identity verification. Age and device settings are not included in the cloud save. Local information normally remains until you reset it, clear the app's storage, or uninstall the app.
Internet connection
Path Coil requires an internet connection to play and checks whether a network connection is available. The app does not request access to your precise location, contacts, photos, microphone, or camera.
Accounts and cloud backup
Account and cloud-backup features are available only to users who self-declare that they are at least 18. Firebase Authentication processes the email address and password entered for account creation or sign-in. Path Coil does not put a readable copy of your password in its game data. Firebase also processes a Firebase user ID, IP address, user-agent or device metadata, and app identifier for service operation, account security, and fraud prevention.
For a signed-in, verified account, Cloud Firestore stores game progress and an unfinished puzzle session under the Firebase user ID so the save can be restored on another device. The cloud-save format excludes declared age, email address, device preferences, and password.
Google acts as our Firebase service provider. Learn more in Firebase privacy and security information and the Firebase Android data disclosure. Firebase may process information outside your country and uses encryption in transit and, for applicable services, at rest.
Children and families
Path Coil is intended for an 8+ mixed audience and uses a neutral, self-declared age screen. Users who declare an age under 18 cannot create a cloud account. Players aged 8 or younger do not receive advertising. We do not knowingly enable cloud accounts for children. Contact us if you believe a child provided personal information through an account contrary to this policy.
Advertising
The release covered by this policy does not serve advertisements. If advertising is enabled in a later release, this policy and the Google Play Data Safety declaration will be updated before release.
Information we do not request
Path Coil does not request precise location, contacts, photos or videos, audio files, microphone, camera, health information, financial information, calendar, or text messages. This release does not use Google Analytics, Firebase Analytics, or Firebase Crashlytics.
Sharing and sale
We do not sell personal information. Firebase processes account and cloud-save information as our service provider. We may disclose limited information when required by law or necessary to protect users, the service, or legal rights.
Retention and deletion
Local game information remains on the device until it is reset, cleared, or the app is uninstalled. Account and cloud-save information remains while the account is active.
You can permanently delete your account and associated cloud data inside Path Coil or through our external account-deletion page. A minimal deletion barrier identified by the former Firebase user ID may be retained for security long enough to prevent an old authenticated device from recreating deleted data. It contains no email, age, password, or gameplay progress. Other limited information may be retained where required for fraud prevention, legal compliance, or legal claims.
Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures appropriate to Path Coil, including encrypted service connections, verified account ownership, and a server-enforced deletion barrier. No storage or transmission method can be guaranteed completely secure.
Your choices
- Reset local progress and settings where available.
- Clear Path Coil app storage or uninstall the app.
- Request access to or deletion of account information by contacting sudipta@ssmplayworks.com.
- Use the in-app or external account-deletion process.
Changes and contact
We may update this policy when Path Coil's features, service providers, or legal obligations change. The effective date will be updated when the policy changes.
